Kamy Musk Willow Syrup (sharbat-e bid-e moshk — musk willow blossom syrup) is a Persian floral syrup made from the blossoms of the bid moshk (Salix aegyptiaca — musk willow), a flowering willow native to Iran whose blossoms produce one of the most delicate, distinctive, and uniquely Persian floral aromatic notes in all of Iranian culinary heritage: gently musky, subtly sweet, softly floral, and faintly honeyed, with a warm, intimate fragrance that is entirely unlike rosewater or orange blossom and belongs to no other cuisine or tradition in the world. Bid moshk is a flavour that is, in the deepest sense, Persian — a taste and fragrance that Iranians recognise immediately and associate with the most tender and intimate corners of Persian sweet and drink culture, from the cold, fragrant glasses of sharbat-e bid moshk served to guests in summer to the delicate, musky sweetness it contributes to Persian puddings, confections, and traditional sweets. Sharbat (Persian cold syrup drinks) is one of the great traditions of Iranian hospitality — a chilled, fragrant, and beautifully coloured diluted syrup drink served to guests as a gesture of welcome, refreshment, and warmth, and bid moshk is one of the most beloved and distinctively Persian sharbat flavours, its soft, musky floral note producing a drink of rare delicacy and cultural resonance. Beyond sharbat, bid moshk syrup is used in Persian desserts and confections as a flavouring agent alongside or as an alternative to rosewater: stirred into fereni (Persian rice flour pudding), sholeh zard (saffron and rosewater rice pudding), halva, and Persian rice flour sweets for a gently musky, floral sweetness. Kamy is a trusted Iranian food brand producing quality traditional Iranian flavours and pantry ingredients.

Dilute 3–4 tablespoons of musk willow syrup in a tall glass of cold water or sparkling water, stir well, and serve over ice for the classic Persian sharbat-e bid moshk — a fragrant, delicately musky, and cooling summer drink, add a splash to cold sparkling water alongside a few drops of rosewater for a layered Persian floral sharbat with both rosewater and bid moshk notes, stir into fereni (Persian rice flour pudding made with milk, sugar, and rice flour) as a flavouring in place of or alongside rosewater for a gently musky, floral pudding, flavour sholeh zard (Persian saffron rice pudding) with a tablespoon of bid moshk syrup alongside the rosewater for an additional delicate floral layer in the finished pudding, use as a Persian sharbat syrup base for mocktails and non-alcoholic summer drinks alongside fresh mint, lime, and cucumber for a fragrant and refreshing Persian-inspired cold drink, drizzle over vanilla ice cream, labneh, and yogurt for a fragrant Persian floral syrup topping, or use in Persian halva and sweet rice preparations as a musky, floral flavouring agent in the sweet base. The musky floral syrup of Persian sharbat — a taste that belongs only to Iran.
